The cooperative was conceptualized through the initiative of Jovencio Ilagan in 1985.

Its operation started with a pool of voluntary funds from employees which is commonly known as “Paluwagan”.

They used the funds to purchase appliances for employees on a scheduled basis.

In 1987, the cooperative submitted registration requirements to Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and was officially accredited and registered in June 11, 1991.

The first office was in Country Space Building in Makati City.
